Continuing Education programs are multi-faceted. They include comprehensive adult offerings during the day and evening and an extensive preschool to grade 12 summer school program.
The Adult Education program serves the educational needs of adult residents sixteen (16) years of age or older through a variety of evening classes offered each fall and spring at Windsor High School. Mandated courses include high school completion (GED preparation), adult basic literacy, English language, and American citizenship instruction. High school completion (GED), adult basic literacy, and English language instruction are also available during the day at the L. P. Wilson Community Center. Mandated courses are offered free of charge to adults. General interest courses are offered in the areas of arts & crafts, computers, dance, health & fitness, home & garden, languages, literature & writing, money management, and personal growth & recreation. General interest courses are tuition-based and self-sustaining. Summer School offers a variety of enrichment, transition and intervention programs for students from preschool to grade 12. Special programs include computers, music, art, English as a Second Language, and CMT Preparation. |
