When it becomes necessary to delay or close schools because of inclement weather or for other emergency reasons, a message will be posted on the district's main web page and you can receive an e-mail notification from our E-school Direct. In addition, local radio stations and television networks will broadcast school delays and closings beginning at approximately 6:00 a.m. A recorded message may also be accessed at 687.2000 ext. 180.

In order to keep the telephone lines open for emergency calls, you are requested not to phone the Police Department, radio stations or television networks for delay or closing information.
