The Community College Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from the Greater Hartford area who are planning to attend a community college in the Greater Hartford area in the fall. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA, have volunteered in their school or community and show financial need. The deadline to apply is August 1. Great Opportunity for Teens CREC & Capital Workforce Partners are working together to offer area teens paid internships this summer. This opportunity is available to only 30 teens who are 16-18 years old and are on the Free/Reduced Lunch program. For an application, check with Mrs. D'Agata in the CRC. Summer Bridge Program for High School Seniors and recent graduates planning to attend college in the fall. This tuition-free program at Goodwin College can give you a jump-start academically and socially on your college experience while earning college credit. All students are eligible, not just those planning to attend Goodwin College. Pick up an application in the CRC: deadline is June 15th.

CT State Police Youth Week Aug 1-6 Are you an 11th grader and interested in Law Enforcement? Learn hands-on what it's like to become a police office or state trooper. If interested, see Mrs. D'Agata in the CRC for an application.
