Mrs. Lee and Mr. Lee share a proud moment together during the 100 Women of Color Gala & Awards.
Windsor, CT – Windsor Public Schools is thrilled to announce that Mrs. Tricia Lee, Principal of Clover Street School, has been named an honoree at the esteemed 100 Women of Color Gala & Awards. This prestigious event celebrates the accomplishments of women who have made a significant impact in the fields of business, education, entrepreneurship, entertainment, and community service, spanning Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
Mrs. Lee, proud Principal of Clover Street School, stands alongside dedicated Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) volunteers, kicking off the first day of school with community support and enthusiasm.
Since becoming Principal of Clover Street School in July 2022, Mrs. Lee has demonstrated extraordinary leadership, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration among students, staff, and families. Her commitment to family engagement through initiatives like Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) has helped strengthen the school’s ties to the community, creating a supportive and enriching environment for students to thrive.
“Mrs. Lee’s passion for education and her tireless dedication to student success have been instrumental in shaping the positive climate at Clover Street School,” said Dr. Noha Hady, Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services. “Her ability to build meaningful relationships with both families and staff has made her a trusted leader in our district. We are proud of her recognition as one of the 100 Women of Color and look forward to her continued leadership.”
Mrs. Lee captured in a moment of reflection and inspiration during our annual leadership retreat.
In response to this honor, Mrs. Lee shared, “Being recognized as one of the 100 Women of Color is an honor and a privilege. The work of educating our youth is not for the weary, and this acknowledgment affirms that those of us doing the work are seen, appreciated, and valued. My sense of responsibility to uplifting my Windsor community has deepened, and I will continue to do so through my actions and my voice as I proudly lead Clover Street School.”
With over 20 years of experience in education, Mrs. Lee has been a steadfast advocate for academic excellence and positive school culture. Before joining Windsor Public Schools, she served as Assistant Principal and later Principal at The Friendship School in Waterford, CT. Mrs. Lee’s extensive background in leadership, including her roles as PBIS Facilitator, Data Team Leader, and CHOICE Liaison, has empowered her to guide Clover Street School to new heights.
