Poquonock persevered through a cold week continuing to shine on in the classrooms.The POQ PTO treated the students to Playhouse on the Park’s production of Dr. Wonderful and Her Dog and we had fun after school at the Winter Dance. Congratulations to Mrs. Canoni and Mrs. Scott for being named Yard Goats’ STEM All-Stars! They will be throwing the first pitch at an upcoming game- more details to come. Looking forward to our Monday SEL-ebration, 100th Day, and our Lunar New Year Parade this coming week. Poquonock is excited for next year and our transition to a 1st and 2nd Grade Looping Model where our teacher and students will stay together as a learning community for 2 years. This will be the topic for our first Principals Coffee and Tea in the FRC Monday 2/3 at 9:30am. There will be another Family Meeting on Looping that same day at 5:30pm before our POQ PTO Meeting. - Mr. Mihalko and Mrs. Romero
