Mission Statement
SPARK is a program designed for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs):
Students who are not meeting with success at WHS due to a variety of reasons
Students who are behind in credits, in danger of falling behind in credits, and/or not making progress towards IEP goals/objectives and/or graduation
Students who struggle to navigate a larger school environment
Students who require a smaller student to teacher ratio.
Students require clinical support regularly
Students returning to district from out of district placements

Shorter Classes/Shorter School Day
Behavioral Processing - Individual/Group
SPARK Provides Students the Opportunity To:
Improve their Academic Approach (engagement in class, on task, work completion) and Decrease Behavioral Incidents so they can meet school expectations in preparation for high school graduation, post-secondary options, and career-planning.

Off-Site Program for Engagement, Achievement, and Knowledge (PEAK)

Students who are not meeting with success at WHS due to a variety of reasons (significant mental health, school avoidance, severe anxiety)
Students who are behind in credits, in danger of falling behind in credits, and/or not making progress towards IEP goals/objectives and/or graduation
Students who want to finish HS, but cannot negotiate a large environment
Students who require working with fewer teachers/students or alone
Students returning to district from out of district placements
Require clinical support regularly
Students work individually/with support on Edgenuity courses
PEAK students may take SPARK Content Area classes as needed
Students take study skills and resource study classes within the PEAK program
