• Snack - some classrooms will be peanut free, please refrain from sending in peanut products until you have been notified by the classroom teacher as to whether or not the room is a peanut-free room.

• Change of clothes in a bag labeled with the child’s first and last name to be kept in their locker.

The federal waiver that provided free lunch and breakfast for all students during the pandemic has expired. During the 2024-2025 school year, families who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch will pay for meals at school. We encourage all families to consider applying for free and reduced lunch. The first day of school for kindergarten students will be Monday, August 26. The kindergarten program is full-day, and letters were mailed to families notifying them of their child’s placement. If you did not receive this information, please contact:

Windsor Public Schools is a one-to-one district, providing access to a Chromebook to each student in grades K-12 to support their learning in school (for grades K-12) and at home (for grades 6-12).
The Chromebook will be issued at no cost to the student. Please make sure you fully read our Chromebook Agreement form, found in back-to-school forms on PowerSchool, for important guidelines and procedures associated with the Chromebook.
Students bring their Chromebooks to school fully charged each day, and if they need repairs made to their Chromebooks, they should take their devices to their school’s 'Chrome Depot' for repair assessment.
