Yesterday marked a momentous occasion as we gathered to celebrate the Signing Day for six outstanding Windsor High School student-athletes. These scholar-athletes have demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill both on and off the field, earning themselves spots at prestigious colleges—a testament to their hard work and commitment to excellence.
WHS students celebrate with Taeshawn Berry who signed with Northeastern University for Track & Field.
As we applaud the achievements of these remarkable individuals, it's essential to recognize the integral role played by their families. Behind every successful student-athlete are parents and guardians who have shown unwavering dedication and sacrifice, providing unwavering support throughout their journey. As these six Windsor High School athletes embark on their college journey, let us also salute the coaches who have played a pivotal role in nurturing their growth, both on and off the field/pool. It truly takes a village to raise and support these stars, and we are grateful for the unwavering dedication of everyone involved.
Without further ado, let's congratulate the following student-athletes on their outstanding achievements and the colleges they will be attending:
Kevin Quarshie and family. (Bryant University - Boys Swimming & Diving)
Chase Royal and family. (Assumption College - Football)
Damion Sparrow and family. (Assumption College - Football)
Kyon Wynter and family. (Central Connecticut State University - Football)
Each of these student-athletes has exemplified the values of dedication, perseverance, and teamwork throughout their high school careers, and we are confident that they will continue to excel in both academics and athletics at the collegiate level.
As we celebrate the accomplishments of these exceptional young individuals, let us also reflect on the collective effort and support that has propelled them to success. Together, as a community, we are #WINdsor, united in our commitment to nurturing the talents and aspirations of our students.
