At Windsor Public Schools, we’re grateful for the dedicated educators who go above and beyond to inspire our students and enrich our community. For this week’s Thankful Thursday, we proudly spotlight two remarkable educators from Windsor High School: Ryan Bennett and Giuliana Ribera.
Ryan Bennett – Inspiring Excellence in Social Studies
Ryan Bennett, Social Studies teacher and department liaison, is a respected and beloved figure at WHS. Known for his reliability and personable demeanor, Ryan is a problem-solver who tirelessly supports his students and colleagues.
His commitment to student success is reflected in the high expectations he sets—expectations his students consistently meet. In 2024, 87% of his AP Government & Politics students scored a 3 or better on the exam, representing an incredible 28.7% increase from 2023! Ryan’s ability to empower students to rise to their full potential is a testament to his dedication and passion for teaching.
Giuliana Ribera – Fostering a Love for Science
Science teacher Giuliana Ribera is a shining example of care and commitment at WHS. Her genuine and nurturing demeanor makes her a favorite among students, while her colleagues know her as a dependable teammate and collaborator.
This past summer, Giuliana volunteered her time to lead her department in developing science writing strategies, further enhancing the quality of instruction at WHS. Her thoughtful, student-centered approach ensures that every learner feels supported and empowered to succeed.
These educators embody the values of Windsor Public Schools and make our district stronger every day. Please join us in celebrating Ryan Bennett and Giuliana Ribera for their outstanding contributions! #weareWINdsor
