dr hady and Lee

Dr. Noha Abdel-Hady, Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services, and Tricia Lee, Principal of Clover Street School, were honored as Phenomenal Women of 2025 by the Windsor Human Relations Commission. This recognition is a testament to the impact of strong, hands-on leadership—leaders who show up, speak up, and inspire those around them.

Dr. Hady marvels at a SPMS students knowledge of wood working during one of her weekly walk throughs where she connects with student and staff across the district to inform her real time data. Dr. Abdel-Hady admires an SPMS student’s woodworking skills during one of her weekly walkthroughs, where she connects with students and staff across the district to gather real-time insights.

Dr. Abdel-Hady, a fierce advocate for equity and excellence in education, shared her gratitude for the honor:

"I am deeply honored to receive the Phenomenal Woman Award from the Windsor Human Relations Commission. This recognition is a testament to the power of education, advocacy, and community. As a lifelong learner and leader, I am committed to empowering others, breaking barriers, and fostering a future where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. Windsor has shaped my journey, and I am proud to continue working toward excellence and equity for all, right here in the same town that has supported and grew the phenomenal woman I am today."

lee Principal Lee engages with families at a Family Academy workshop this winter, creating meaningful connections beyond the classroom. By fostering real, transparent relationships in a relaxed setting, she bridges the gap between school and home—one of the many ways she ensures the best outcomes for her students.

Principal Tricia Lee, known for her dedication to students and families, reflected on what this award means to her:

"I’m humbled and truly honored to have been nominated and selected to receive this award. Being nominated by a student's parent makes it even more meaningful. It’s a reminder of the special connections and partnerships that we build with our families and how impactful those partnerships can be. I'm incredibly grateful."

The Phenomenal Women 2025 Award Ceremony celebrates community-nominated women who are shaping Windsor through their leadership, service, and advocacy. Having two Windsor Public Schools leaders recognized is a reflection of the district’s deep commitment to fostering excellence—not just in the classroom, but in the entire community.
