ArtShow22

The WHS Media Center was transformed into an Art Gallery last night showcasing the best of this yearā€™s student work.  Patrons filled the room and were treated to one-of-a-kind instillations by our very own artists in residence!

I am always amazed at the level and creativity of the students in our Art programs.  The two pieces purchased for Central office are exemplars. I am so proud of our students and Art staff.
-Dr. Terrell Hill, WPS Superintendent

To say the night was a huge success would be an understatement.  Fellow students, staff, parents, and community members marveled at the accomplishments of our very skilled WHS art students.   The environment was full of engaging conversations, smiles, as well as bits of silence where guests fully immersed themselves in the art.

We especially want to congratulate our seniors, Jada Watson (University of Connecticut/Biochemistry), Jessica Wallen (undecided), Sage-Marie DesRosiers (undecided), Emily Anderson (University of Hartford/Art), Christine Damas (Manchester Community College/Art Therapy), & Trinity Goode (Albertus Magnus College/Art Therapy) whose art and fashion pieces took center stage at the show.

As always thank you to our AMAZING staff who put this fabulous event together!  #weareWINdsor
