Panelists provided valuable advice on topics such as time management, handling course loads, and how WHS prepared them for their next steps. A common theme throughout the discussion was the importance of making connections and how the social-emotional learning (SEL) foundation built at WHS helped them thrive socially and emotionally.

“I never thought I’d join the surf club, but putting myself out there helped me meet new people and create lasting friendships,” shared Cierra Lazu, reflecting on her time at the University of Rhode Island.

Hearing from alumni who’ve been in their shoes reassures them that they’re prepared and capable of success.”
