Windsor Public Schools Kicks Off 2024-2025 School Year with Enthusiasm and Community Spirit Students return to Sage Park Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. Windsor, CT—Windsor Public Schools welcomed students back to classrooms today with excitement, energy, and a powerful demonstration of community support. The first day of the 2024-2025 school year was marked by the district’s signature #CallingAllWindsorMen event, where fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other male caregivers gathered to give students a warm and encouraging welcome.Calling All Windsor Men line up at Poquonock School. Dads and father figures greet incoming students for their first day of school. The atmosphere at each school was electric, as students, staff, and families reunited after the summer break. At the high school, middle school, and elementary schools across the district, the sight of so many men lining up at the front doors to greet students set a tone of support and community engagement that will carry throughout the year. The welcome brigade at Sage Park Middle School was nothing short of spectacular. Windsor Public Schools couldn’t have asked for a better start to the school year. The presence of dads and father figures was a powerful reminder of the importance of family and community in our students’ education. Their enthusiasm and commitment to being there on day one sends a strong message that we are all in this together. Fathers, community members, board members and educators line up at Windsor High School to celebrate and greet students for the 2024-2025 school year. Windsor Public Schools continues to prioritize family engagement, social-emotional learning (SEL), and rigorous, data-driven academics. This year, the district is focused on strengthening partnerships with families and community members to support student success, both in and out of the classroom.
