Windsor, CT – Windsor High School’s FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC) Team 571 Paragon is set to compete at the New England District Championship - Ballard Division, taking place April 3-6 at The Big E in West Springfield, MA. This prestigious event brings together the top 96 robotics teams from across New England, divided into two divisions of 48 teams, all vying for the chance to advance to the World Championship.
Following an impressive 28th place ranking out of 191 teams across New England, Paragon Robotics has earned a well-deserved spot at the championship level. Over the past few months, students have been designing, building, coding, and testing their robot, preparing to compete in a high-stakes, custom-designed challenge revealed in early January. After weeks of intense qualification matches, the team is ready to showcase their innovation and technical skills at the highest level.
“This competition is more than just building robots,” said John Guzauckas, Robotics Team Advisor. “It’s about fostering problem-solving, teamwork, and engineering skills that will prepare our students for the future. We’re proud of their dedication and can’t wait to see them compete.”
