Student sits on mat during blood drive

The first blood drive since February, 2020 was a grand success. The drive was held in the Windsor High School Library/ Media Center on October 18, 2021. Mr. Chrisis’s Intro. to Health Care students recruited 51 donors and 33 productive pints of blood were gathered due to their efforts. This surpassed the goal of 33 pints set by the Red Cross. The students also assisted the Red Cross during the drive. Seated on the mat is Sade Arnold. Sade was the first 16 year old student to have ever donated blood with parental permission in Windsor High School.  Due to the donors efforts there is the potential of 99 lives being saved. The next drive will be held in February.
